The screen is painted with a transparent artificial fabric by Rainer Füreder. Due to the stroked painting, the spaces in between remain translucent and visible. The resulting optical effect creates visual stimuli in a spatial quality through the play of light and shadow. This play is intensified by the variable positions of the screen: According to an old Chinese method, the net panels are wound so that the screen can be set up in the usual zigzag position, but also in a star shape. The viewer is constantly presented with new perspectives - an imaginative play with shadows and transparency.
