Christmas Quarter in the MuseumsQuartier
For those interested in design: On first Advent weekend the Christmas Quarter opens its doors again.
In the Ovalhalle, the Arena21 and the frei_raum Q21 in the MuseumsQuartier, around 100 independent labels and young creatives present their unconventional yet functional products. A cross-section of the designer world shows unusual one-offs off the mainstream. A wide variety of materials are lovingly crafted into unique pieces by designers, small labels and manufacturers. The focus is on product diversity. Whether ceramics, glass, wood, paper - no material remains untouched.
The WeihnachtsQuartier offers visitors a wide range of 1000 m² Products from the categories Fashion, Jewellery, Accessories, Art, Graphics & Food. The design market at the MQ is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

Precious Fabric SPRING MARKET
EDELSTOFF Spring Market in the MARX HALLE" - 4,000m² full of beautiful things!
150 exhibitors, 50 of which are brand new labels, will be showing their latest creations from the fields of jewellery, fashion, accessories, art, culinary, cosmetics, product and kids design. Handmade unique items from Austria or neighbouring countries, customised, in small(st) series, produced fairly and sustainably.
10 years is a reason to celebrate. Every tenth guest gets a glass of prosecco for free.
As always, there is also a 1,000m² Street Food Area, chill beats, cosy lounge areas, blogger:inside flea market and vintage corner as well as Show workshopswhere selected designers manufacture their products on site.

The unique combination of silk as the outer material and merino wool in the core, hand-felted in an old Japanese felting technique, makes our protective textile particularly comfortable to wear. The breathable natural materials also have the property of warming in winter and cooling in summer.

Jacket Coat Award
The schauRAUM for applied arts presented fashion accessories by austriandesign.at by Karin Merkl at the 15th Werkkunstmarkt on 12/13 November 2016. The "Von Taube Prize" was awarded at the Wasserschloss Klaffenbach in Chemnitz and our JackenMantel was awarded 2nd prize. The jury was impressed by the JackenMantel as a fresh and versatile knitwear fashion and was convinced by the high quality of the material and the first-class craftsmanship.
