Hand Blown Glass Tea Cups by Judith Rataitz

In "Tee_Tasse_Duo" by the Austrian designer and ceramist Judith Rataitz, the spherical shape - which has always been associated with tea - is consistently applied. The glass hemisphere without any base is supported by a ring disc. It can be moved as if on a joint. But even without the ring - resting on the zenith - it finds an unstable balance. In this way, the everyday enjoyment of tea is involuntarily enriched by a playful, meditative moment.
