In the Ovalhalle, the Arena21 and the frei_raum Q21 in the MuseumsQuartier, around 100 independent labels and young creatives present their unconventional yet functional products. A cross-section of the designer world shows unusual one-offs off the mainstream. A wide variety of materials are lovingly crafted into unique pieces by designers, small labels and manufacturers. The focus is on product diversity. Whether ceramics, glass, wood, paper - no material remains untouched.<\/p>\n

Jacket Coat Award<\/h3>\n

The schauRAUM for applied arts presented fashion accessories by austriandesign.at by Karin Merkl at the 15th Werkkunstmarkt on 12\/13 November 2016. The \"Von Taube Prize\" was awarded at the Wasserschloss Klaffenbach in Chemnitz and our JackenMantel was awarded 2nd prize. The jury was impressed by the JackenMantel as a fresh and versatile knitwear fashion and was convinced by the high quality of the material and the first-class craftsmanship.<\/p>\n
